Manual Dermabrasion™

No Equipment Needed

This new revolutionary treatment involves manually applying a micro magnesium oxide treatment to the skin in a 5 – 10 minute treatment there by sloughing unwanted dry skin cells to achieve the same or sometimes superior results than those done in a doctors office and at a fraction of the cost.  This is the most exciting and revolutionizing skin care treatment introduction since alpha hydroxy and glycolic acids.  Manual Dermabrasion is affordable, easy to do, safe and requires virtually no recovery time.

Candidates are anyone who does not want to go through the time, expense, discomfort, long healing times and possible side effects of alternative skin resurfacing treatments such as chemical peels, clinical dermabrasion or laser skin resurfacing.

Skin resurfacing treatments that afflict trauma to the skin and require extensive recovery times, as well as financial demands, have been replaced by microdermabrasion.  Microdermabrasion has demonstrated significant results on skin conditions that were up till now untreatable.  Although the results from microdermabrasion are ranked as the hottest new source for increased revenues for the esthetics industry it comes with a downside.  Equipment startup cost is high and as a result unattainable for many estheticians, and the maintenance required could be challenging for those who are not mechanically inclined.

The introduction of manual dermabrasion provides the benefits of microdermabrasion employing the same technology with the use of magnesium oxide microcrystals without the equipment expense and maintenance.  It has the ability too gently yet effectively smooth the epidermis while stimulating blood and lymph flow to nourish and oxygenate at a cellular level.   Studies on microdermabrasion have demonstrated an increase in superficial papillary dermal collagen as a result of the healing response of the skin following the treatment.

Manual dermabrasion is the most innovative and effective new skin resurfacing treatment, providing both visible results and profit potential for the esthetics field in quite some time.  Manual Dermabrasion can improve the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, skin tone, blackheads, whiteheads, surface scaring, acneic scaring, superficial pigmentation, aging and sun damaged skin and decongest acneic conditions.  Manual dermabrasion is affordable, easy to perform, safe, and requires virtually no recovery time.  The depth of the treatment is determined by the pressure exerted and the time of application.  For areas of thinner skin less pressure is required.

Following a manual dermabrasion treatment the ability of the epidermis to retain moisture has been diminished and extra hydration is required for 14 days. One of the benefits of manual dermabrasion is the ability of the skin to assimilate treatment products into the skin.  Products such as Hyaluronic Acid Serum, Eterna Bella, Peptide Cream and Super Moisturizing Serum + C are able to penetrate the skin providing superior results.

The best results are achieved with a series of 6 treatments spaced one week apart.  Maintenance should be done every 2 months.

Common Questions on Manual Dermabrasion

What is the difference between Manual Dermabrasion and any other type of exfolliant?

Manual Dermabrasion utilizes magnesium oxide crystals with a physical structure that is unlike any of the common exfoliating materials.   Typical scrubs are performed using friction that can cause scratching and trauma to the skin where the Manual Dermabrasion crystals require less pressure due to the dense crystal shape and cream base where incisions are made by the crystals eliminating dead skin cells with limited friction and limited recovery time.

Can I add this to my regular facial?

During any skin resurfacing treatment minimal additional stimulation is recommended.  A Manual dermabrasion treatment is more profitable than your regular facial because you are charging the same amount as a facial treatment and manual dermabrasion is performed in ½ the time.

How many treatments are required for best results?

Manual dermabrasion should be sold in a series of 6 treatments spaced between 7 and 10 days apart for best results.
